All along the town there was people lining the footpaths and we turned up to go towards the crematorium and Owen's secondary school.

All of the kids were standing out as well.

It was just the most moving thing I've ever seen.

I'll never ever forget that.

It was incredible.

So we got to the crematorium and had another little service there.

And that, as it is for anybody, the end of that is the most heartbreaking part because the curtains close and that's it.

And you'll never see that person again.

It's devastating.

And we kind of got through that and I thought, well, I've done that now.

All those ceremonies are done.

Now what?

The rest of my life without him.

Just that's not reasonable.

It's too long.

Forever is too long to be without him, really.

The kids have been a great support and it's real comfort to still have Joey be so small and he really needs me.

And to have those little arms to wrap around your neck when you need a hug is just lovely.

They've all kind of shown the best qualities of their dad in the way that they've looked after me since and the kind of insightful things that they've said.

even Ben who's 12 now he said this is it's really hard for you it's different for us but I know it's really hard for you especially I think that that kind of insight for a little kid and Owen the eldest makes me tea every night and kind of tells me to go to bed if I'm staying up too late he's just they have been incredible I wore the little dolphin necklace that James had got me for my 17th birthday on the day of his funeral and I'm wearing it now as well because I wanted him to just be with me wow yeah
