So the profits are getting a little bit thinner, especially when we talk about budget airlines.

They're already very lean in terms of their structure and their operations.

So they have already squeezed every kind of cost that they can.

And with the rising fuel prices, again, being a significant part of their operating costs, that means that it's very difficult for them when they have to deal with price-sensitive customers to pass that extra cost.

So we see that they're losing in terms of profitability and margins.

The margins are getting a little bit smaller for all airlines across the world, but especially for those who haven't had their fuel price and also for those that are very exposed to fluctuations of those fuel prices.

It's very different, very different in terms of scale, but also very different in terms of duration, hopefully duration.

I hope I'm not proven wrong by saying that.

So the common parameters with a pandemic is that we saw the pandemic affecting every airline in the world.

And again, we saw them reacting in different ways.

So those that they have very deep pockets, government support, a very strong structure, they survived.

Whereas those that they were already having numerous problems, it just gave them the final kick.

So similarly here, we might see the same.

And we saw that actually with Spirit that went bankrupt for the second time in a year.

back in May 2026.

And Ayat actually said that one of the main reasons for Spirit going bankrupt was due to the Iran war.

And we haven't seen a major airline going bankrupt in the last 25 years in the history of the U.S.

airline industry.

So there are significant similarities with the pandemic in terms of the level, the geographical scope of the exposure.

But again, hopefully this crisis will last less than the pandemic that was dragging the airline profitability and network for the last two years.
