Going back to the trial brief, they did allege that David allegedly cut off Celeste's left ring and pinky fingers because they shared that tattoo on that finger.

And actually her fingers have not been recovered.

In terms of the brutal nature of what the alleged suspect did?
I mean, I've covered other murder trials before, and one of the things that really strikes me when prosecutors usually present their evidence is the brutality at which the suspects kill the individual when it's a personal relationship.
Like, for example, strangling someone is very intimate.
You're looking at someone's face when the individual is strangling the person.
And the evidence that, you know, obviously they said that Celeste's body, she was decapitated.
Body parts are still missing.
