Could be scheduling issues with witnesses and experts, any other issues with discovery and evidence and other things like that.
I believe the prosecution said they're going to take four or five days, so it could be a week or so.
Well, for this case, obviously, there's going to be tons of evidence, 40 terabytes worth of evidence.
So they didn't mention all of that in the trial brief.
But already, just reading that trial brief, you know, was shocking, the amount of evidence they do have so far.
Which again, I found that very interesting because I haven't seen a lot of prosecutors do that, present evidence.
a trial brief outlining some of the things that they have already.
So I'm sure there will be a lot more coming forward.
I believe so.
I mean, at this point, before actually the preliminary hearing, they should know what evidence the prosecutors have so they then can build their own defense on that.
So
Most of the time they do know what's going to be presented.
And, you know, sitting in court in my experience is if there is like a last minute evidence that's put in, actually there's usually like another separate argument over whether that evidence could come in to play because it hasn't been presented prior.
But given the amount of evidence that the prosecution is saying that they have, I expect that there might be some battles moving forward during the actual trial, if it goes to trial, of which evidence will come in or not.
Yeah, you know, if I can look into my crystal ball, I don't know really.
I mean, it sounds from reading the preliminary evidence.
trial brief, just that brief itself, it seems like they have a ton of evidence against David.
So we shall see.
And again, like we talked about earlier, it's kind of like a low bar to actually get a case going through the prelim and to actually be charged.
So I think there's a good possibility that it will actually go to actual trial.
