The family showed up, I think, on the first day when he was arraigned or his first appearance, but I haven't seen them lately.

And obviously, you know, this is a very huge trial.

So I'm sure they want to stay away from the public eye at this point.

And as far as public goes, there have been some in the audience.

It's mostly right now, mostly us reporters, but there's also a lot of social media journalists, TikTokers who have joined us in the courtroom and they're following it intently also because they have their own audiences and TikTok and YouTube and all those other things, kind of like what happened with at the Diddy trial.

So I expect that to kind of happen here too.

Yeah, the preliminary hearing is open to the public, but it is a tight, tight courtroom in there.

So I expect it to be crowded and there's only going to be a limited amount of seats for the public and also for media.

So we'll see.

We'll see what happens.

I can't say it won't be bigger than Diddy's trial.

Who knows?

I mean, there's obviously David was also very popular online.

this case has garnered worldwide attention.

So who knows, maybe there will be a big contingent who will want to sit in in the courtroom as well.

As far as when the actual trial will start, obviously we still have to wait and see if the judge finds whether there is enough evidence to take the case to trial.

Now, if the judge decides, yes, there is enough evidence, David will then have a post-preliminary hearing arraignment, which should happen within 15 days.

And then after that, the 60-day clock starts.

And that means his trial under California law has to start within 60 calendar days of his second arraignment if he demands a speedy trial.

And now, of course, that trial date is oftentimes moved several times because of various factors.
