And it's a question mark around, you know, they play Meek and Reeves.
Reeves played 41% game time.
You've got Chole, who was non-competitive last night, I thought, at that time.
And Mitch Lewis didn't get into the game.
So all of a sudden, you've got sort of four guys who weren't able to market and weren't able to put much pressure on as well.
And the other little thing that happened as well, Connor McKenna played on Jarman Impey.
Impey's been
so pivotal in the amount of drive that he's been providing from half-back.
Now, he just had one of those nights, three times his teammates handballed over his head when they went to handball back to him.
He just couldn't take a trick, unfortunately.
So, you know, that just provides another little insight for all the other teams that are preparing to play against Hawthorne about, hey, you know, this is what we can do with this player and this is how we take this player out of it.
So they're all, I guess, pieces in the puzzle when you're trying to sort of
plot the downfall of Hawthorne.
Now, whether you can do it successfully over multiple weeks in a row, I'm not sure, but it just shows there is a little bit of success factor when you try and take some of those key personnel out.
I think Will Day sat on the bench for the last 12 or 14 minutes as well, so that was probably an admission that that was beyond them.
Could have been a lot worse, by the way.
What did they kick?
18-17.
And I reckon they kicked four or five out on the full.
3-5 or 3-6 in the last quarter.
