It was a great day, but it was really interesting.
I just happened to come across one of the recruiters from the Adelaide Football Club, and I'd spoken to him about two years ago, and we were talking about players that were in and around the Sandville, and Jay was playing for Norwood.
And this recruiter said, I've just seen this kid who's got the best pair of hands I've ever seen.
But he was a bit worried there wasn't too much else.
Well, Geelong took him in the draft.
It's been 18 months in the coming, but he certainly showed those good hands.
And I was surprised.
Sorry, I shouldn't say I wasn't surprised.
But Grian Myers after the game said, gee, look out for this kid.
He's got the best pair of hands I've ever seen.
So he's been backed up by Grian Myers.
And if he can get that kicking sorted out and get that on target, then he had five, maybe even six shots a goal.
He missed one altogether.
So he looks like a good size.
His body looks reasonably mature.
And he looks like he could be a fine for the Cats.
He's a hybrid type as well.
We saw that Jack Gunston size.
He's 190.
Yeah, it looks like he's got good movement as well.
