And I think that's going to be an important part to Adelaide's season going forward.
And that was why last night was so important.
Assuming that Sydney don't totally capitulate, their draw is okay, Sydney, so I think they'll still qualify in the top four.
But Adelaide had Sydney in Sydney and they had Fremantle at Optus.
So they were two big games and they could really only afford to lose one because Brisbane only have one, I think, tough game and that's they play Hawthorne at the Gabba.
Now they may well beat Hawthorne at the Gabba and that might lock Adelaide out of the top four still.
But
They couldn't lose last night, and they're most likely going to lose to Fremantle in Perth.
So that was the other sort of meritorious factor last night.
They knew that that was so important, so they set themselves for that and played really well.
But I think they would still give themselves a really strong chance of finishing in the top four, and it does set up a really good game in Perth against Fremantle in a couple of weeks' time.
That's the Adelaide side of the equation.
As simple as I can be with that.
They do have a bit of a star system as well.
Like if Heaney and Warner don't play really well and they have to kick goals as well.
They get so many goals through their midfielders.
Because their forward half, I think they've got some real issues in their forward half.
Now, Curnow was kept quiet last night.
Now, he's not going to be their best player every week, but they just don't seem to get enough from Logan McDonald.
McLean's been quiet the last couple of weeks.
