So at the next meeting when we so we're gonna take these comments that we've received today and staff will bring back Findings and recommendations based on the totality of the circumstance So merely having a person say they would like to solicit a proposal isn't it doesn't make it into our process insufficient and so we'll just if the board wants to move forward with this process and

At the next meeting, we'll put together the appropriate legal findings based on the facts that we have and the proposal that we have in front of us if the board wants to direct us to move forward to the next step.

So we'd be legally sufficient if we do it without going forward with an RFP, and it's an option for the board.

The P3 process has some flexibility in that.

But you can still decide to go the other way if you think that that's...

Does the other company that spoke today still have an opportunity to submit written comments and or a counter proposal or anything like that?

And if so, what is their deadline?

Because you need time to process anything that they submit before.

In fairness to them, do they have a day, a week, three days?

How long do they have to submit documents that would still give you time to review it and get it to us?

The plan right now is that the second public meeting is going to be on the 22nd.

So they would be submitting information for us in time for the public meeting.

If they're going to do another proposal, if they had comments,

exactly what they proposed today, which is perhaps we should look at more options.

The Solid Waste Authority, any member of the public, not just another proposer, would have that on the record.

And the board would be able to consider that.
