So this is another sort of driver from the constellation play that we're talking about that's going to start changing our world very quickly.

There's three orbits, low Earth orbit,

is where most of the new satellites are being built in.

So this is where the International Space Station is located.

And this is where all of the ICI satellites and all of the satellites that Starlink uses are.

So they are the nearest to Earth, so they're able to communicate better and provide better visibility.

It's cheaper to get the satellites into the nearest part of the Earth.

They're all traveling around our planet around 17,500 miles per hour.

So you need a lot of them to provide coverage.

And this is the reason why you've got Starlink there with more than 10,000 satellites.

But each satellite provides a sort of global coverage.

So you can actually get sort of hourly revisit, no, not hourly, daily revisit with a satellite constellation of about 18 satellites because all of those satellites are constantly traveling around the world.

And this is why it's such an exciting area to invest into because you immediately get a global product as soon as you build your initial constellation.

So that's low Earth orbit.

You've then got mid Earth orbit, MEO as they call it,

which is where most of the GPS satellites are based.

It's higher up.

It means you don't have to have as many satellites to provide that same level of service.

But you pay the price for that.
