I mean, tactically, it's a smart thing for the Justice Department to have done.
When the members of Congress came in to look in camera, as they call it, sort of in secret at the unredacted files, they had the access to everything.
And DOJ obviously wanted to see what they were looking at so that when Bondi could come and testify or when they would ask more questions, they would have more information.
The problem is, is Bondi has not built up, charitably speaking, a lot of goodwill in Congress.
And the way in which DOJ has handled this has been pretty terrible.
In fact, the way the administration has, has been pretty terrible.
To say that this is Pam Bondi's doing, the way in which the Epstein files have rolled out, that's not quite accurate.
Yeah, the buck stops with her at DOJ, but this is Trump's administration and the buck stops with him.
Oh, yeah.
And so again, Buck stops with her at DOJ.
Right.
You know, heavy lies the crown.
If I can kind of misquote slightly the King Lear line about, hey, when you're in power and you're an authority, you know, who the cat fit wear it.
And she's not necessarily wearing it very comfortably.
