And for the first six months there's no issue.
I mean, customers don't complain, uh management doesn't complain, there's no problem, even though
uh Red Robin had a had a dress code policy that uh forbade um
open display of tattoos.
And
Then a new manager comes, he sees them, he says, Cover those up
The fellow says no and he gets terminated.
Uh and what happened is he filed a charge with the EEO C
the uh which filed a lawsuit on his behalf and
Because the uh the company would not accommodate this religious practice uh in some way, um
the company ended up having to settle this for approximately a hundred and fifty thousand dollars and they had to revise their uh their dress code policy to include the option of religious accommodation in in a case just like that.
Yeah, well I mean first of all the the the impact of social media has has just been enormous and uh it it's moving so fast I I'm sure five years down the road what constitutes social media will probably be much different than what it is today.
Um
I still find it unbelievable
what people will openly post about themselves.
Um you know, and I think to some extent it's a prevalent but mistaken mindset that you still can be anonymous on the internet.
Um, but you know, it's it's so common now people posting uh pictures of themselves drunk or doing drugs or other things on the internet that it it's almost become a stereotype.
Um
It would seem
that uh social media would be uh an HR person or an employer's dream come true for screening job candidates because it's it's very cheap
