Before we go, former crypto mogul Sam Bankman-Fried wants a pardon from President Trump.
Bankman-Fried was convicted of fraud and money laundering in 2023.
That was after he misdirected billions of dollars in customer funds through his crypto exchange FTX.
He's now serving a 25-year sentence.
Now, Bankman-Fried might have a shot at a pardon here.
Trump has let off other crypto executives during his time in office.
In October, he pardoned the founder of Binance.
