So it has to be that our governor is running for some other office and not paying attention to what's going on here in town.
It is more typical that the public sector at large actually contributes money to the construction and operation and future capital expenses of the stadium, along with
infrastructure improvements, along with no property taxes paid whatsoever.
Not property tax cap, but zero property taxes.

Arenas are a little closer to the United Center, but the stadiums are more like that one.
So, for example, Soldier Field pays no property taxes.
Now, people will say it's owned by the government.
Ownership of the building in a sports facility is relatively irrelevant as to who controls it.
That is what is relevant.
The revenues, the activities.
Now, all that having been said, that's not the... To me, as somebody who's done a couple of dozen of these things, that's not the operative issue.
The operative issue is sitting down and discussing it, having an analysis.
