And it's just one of those situations where the Bills drafted a center two years ago from Georgia, Cedric Van Praan-Granger.
He's been in their system for two years.
He's been a backup.
It's probably time for him to take over on a rookie contract.
They have Alec Anderson waiting in the wings also, who's going to probably play guard for David Edwards.
He's going to leave as a free agent.
So I think they have to kind of have a bit of a change here to lower their numbers on the offensive line, their salary numbers because of where they are with the cap.
Connor McGovern, when he was in Dallas,
I believe he played center.
Actually, he grew up as a center.
He played guard, he played a little tackle, and he played fullback at one point, I think.
He's that kind of an athlete, guys.
So if you do get Connor McGovern in Chicago, I think that is a perfect kind of fit for a younger quarterback in Caleb Williams, who, oh, by the way...
runs around a little bit, you know, understands that he's mobile.
Conor McGovern's blocked for a guy like that.
I think it would fit.
Yeah, especially, I mean, again, he has versatility.
Like, he actually was the Bills' starting guard while Mitch Morris was the center.
Mitch retired, actually, I'm sorry, he went to Jacksonville first, then he retired, and then Connor McGovern slid over to center.
So that just tells you how versatile he can be.
