And then Ben Brown, who did not look as sharp as he had been looking.

He previously, but still manages, and this is the sign of a guy, a developing pitcher, one who when you don't have your best stuff, as was the case for Ben Brown on Saturday, you still plow through it.

And he did with one run, seven hits, struck out three, did walk three over 86.

But he battled in that one, and the Cubs went in that game 6-1.

So those stories continue to be good for the Cubs.

Bottom line is they found a way to win two out of three games against a bad Giants team despite going two for 21 in the series with runners in scoring position.

Got to get a whole lot better.

Two for 21.

Now, that being said, I am highly encouraged by a few things that I saw on this road trip and in this series, right?

Because two times on this trip, they hit three home runs in a game.
