Uh well I think it's message control.
He he he's a genius at deciding uh what all of us are going to be talking about.
So if we weren't talking about his remarks about a United Ireland, uh what would we be talking about?
He has had the opportunity to cause some discomfort for London um on foot of his Falklands remarks.
Um so clearly he's got some beef with uh with Andy Burnham.
It's all about keeping people unstable.
Uh
It's all it's all very deliberate and you know whether any of this matters on Monday morning, uh frankly is uh is another question.
I I I wonder I I can't be alone, I'm sure, in finding this entire thing remarkably tedious and and tiresome.
Um you know, uh all of this uh the this whole visit stuff and all the hoopla around it.

Yeah, and now he's talking about coming for the Ryder Cup, which I'm sure every organiser inside the Ryder Cup will do everything that they can to ensure doesn't happen because they'll have enough problems down in the dare uh without dealing with your man.
Um no uh you know, it's uh it's extraordinary how he he manages to um uh to to put everybody off and uh uh on on steady, as I said.
Um, you know, we regard him oftentimes as being
uh a clown or whatever else, but he is remarkably talented uh at controlling information in the modern uh media age and you know none of this stuff should be um uh should be ignored quite why he's talking in the manner that he is given that he's you know eight weeks away from midterms where he could lose control of the House and the the Senate um and there's no domestic message uh for the TV audience back in the day.
Yeah, it is.
I mean it's it's incredibly weakened.
I mean, it would be difficult for the Irish American lobby to do what they did in the early nineties in the peace process to do that today, uh, because it's morphed and changed and you haven't had an influx of kind of mi later migration to almost freshen the gene pool uh to some extent.
So all of that is um uh uh is weaker.
Now whether there's any possibility that a United Ireland message
