Yeah, it I mean I was around in the um national racing uh paddocks in eighties uh early eighties and um I saw 'em up close, certainly in a little bit in Ford two thousand, but particularly in Formula three and eighty three. voice-verified

And I recall one race on the Silverstone Club Circuit where um the race prior to the F three race uh voice-verified

an old jagged put a lot of oil down uh all the way through uh Woodcut Corner um on on the club circuit and I was watching straight on as they come down uh th the club straight into in Woodcut and there was cement dust on this oil and he just breaks so much later than everybody else and just took an enormous entry speed in voice-verified

And he could see that well, he's got this dust coming up. voice-verified

And he just collected the moment and slid through there and everybody else had gone really cautiously 'cause it was first time through the cement dust and he must have opened up about five car lengths just like that. voice-verified
