Why aren't we doing it?
As long as they register their interest, yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And that orange guy that you're talking about, his pronouncements are never based on the reality or asking the right question.
They're based on what is advantageous to him.
But because of the position of power he's in,
it has given those people with the fingers in their ears that didn't want the environmental scene to be true, to feel it's okay to rubbish that concern.
So, yeah, that's the backlash and that's the backlash that Formula One needs not to be part of.
So, yeah, I think...
As long as it steers that middle course.
And all the investments are being controlled by that lobby.
Not all of them, but an unhealthy proportion of investment is being controlled by that lobby, which is delaying the switch that we need to make.
And Formula One could be part of publicising the possibility of that switch.
Yeah.
And those petroleum companies didn't want F1 to go to sustainable fuels, but it did so anyway.
which is, you know, hats off to F1 for doing that because it realised it was the right thing to do.
I think it should extend that and say we're not automatically following the automotives either.
It just takes in whatever's there, Formula 1, doesn't it?
So on the eve of the Miami Grand Prix, we're going to see the effect of these tweaking of the regulations, which have needed a tweak after just three races.
