Yeah, so I think it was already um quite seriously discussed, not the terms but the idea of it in twenty thirteen.
So before the twenty fourteen season had even started.
So the the idea that because Daniel Ricardo had outperformed Seb Seb wanted an escape, this is it it's that's not doesn't hold up because it was already being discussed well before the wheels had even turned in twenty fourteen.
And um
Subsequently I did an interview with Luca Dom Domonzemlo, boss Ferrari of course at the time, and asked him to talk me through it and basically he'd said that um he had the sense that Alonso, although he was fantastic fantastic driver, he had the sense that in the way that he spoke that when he did well it was because it was Alonso and when he didn't do well it was because of the team and he just he he got a bit tired of this
And he didn't think it was very healthy for the team.
So he'd had a conversation with Michael Schumacher and said, Look, I want to recreate what we had with you.
How how do you think I should go about this?
And Michael had said, Well, the guy you need here to build everything around is Seb Sebastian Vettel.
And he Luca didn't take much convincing of that.
And so that was all so part of the the three key people were um Schumacher Vettel.
And um DeMontzemelo, Schumacher and Vettel of course, close friends.
