manager, probably Bretori.

He subsequently realised that this must have meant that Ferrari was in discussion with another driver without having informed Alonso, which was a close on his contract, saying if you're in discussion with another driver, you have to inform us and they hadn't.

So he used that and he got I don't know if he got all of his Ferrari salary, but he most of his F Ferrari salary got paid in

twenty fifteen even though you're driving for McLaren and getting paid by McLaren as well.

And they were banks

So they you know they they were that's that's the price they had to pay.

They had to um they had to pay his salary in in and and uh so Alonso had lost uh lost the Ferrari drive and ended up in a very uncompetitive McLaren, but at least he was getting paid twice.

Yeah, it's all shifting sands beneath them.

And that's the d the key distinction between the Michael Schumacher era of success at Ferrari and the Sebastian Vettel era at Ferrari.

Um everything was there to support 'em.

It brought the key people with him.

It was supported from the top.

You had this little unit of Ross Brun, Jean Tot, Michael Schumacher

Rory Byrne as a as a unit and you know, they taught kept all the external pressures away from the group and they were just able to do what was necessary, what they saw as necessary as racing people to just transform this

organisation with an enormous potential but which always always firing off in random directions and it had just over time after they'd all retired and left and

i i weren't directly replaced with that type of organization.

And so this what seemed like the perfect opportunity to t to regroup and do it again had been blown because there was now no fun foundations to it.

It was just no foundations whatsoever.
