I haven't seen any data that shows me that people are using the workforce development component or this component or how many and what the numbers are and if it's even worth this $200 million investment personally.

When you look at the numbers with respect to use of the other partners that are in there, because I've gone in like others and we've had partners there and we are appreciative of all of our partners.

but I can tell you I've been told and I've seen certain partners that they are not busy when the CRC is full.

And most of the time what people are there for is what they're there for, right?

And it is the core of our services from what I can tell when I've gone to CRCs.

There is a need for all of those other components.

I just am not convinced that it's a need

necessarily under one roof based on the traffic.

I'm just giving this to you, Mr. Manager, so you can understand where I'm coming with my feedback.

I also think that we are not taking into consideration 30, 40 years from now, we're just assuming that this is the delivery model that is forever, and this is a perpetual delivery model for services, which I suspect

which the way we're moving technology and other ways in society, that this is going to be Kmart.

When I was growing up in the 70s, Sears and Kmart, you'd never believe that you would never be able to go into this big box monstrosity or whatever, and it would be here forever, right?

So we should take into consideration that the delivery model that we're solving for today

third in 2040, 2050, we're gonna be talking about it's obsolete and then we're gonna be trying, a future board is gonna be trying to figure out how do you repurpose these investments and what does it mean and so on and so forth.

So for me, so I'll just say, I'll leave that there.

But what I was gonna tell you is this, this is my feedback.

With respect to the ECRC,

I can unequivocally tell you that East Charlotte is not necessarily interested in just more social services.

East Charlotte is interested in economic mobility, upward mobility, opportunity, access, whether you're talking about youth programming.

So if I was to break this down, I don't want to use an East Charlotte in my district.
