Tell me if you think this is a good idea, Bob and Mark and limits.
I go back in the archives to when I first started writing high school sports in the early nineties and do a series for, I don't know, six months where I do like six different stories.
uh updating these people's lives i go back to the stories that i wrote sort of a where are they now where are they now type thing would that be fun bob would you read it you don't read my columns did you ever go look for where are they now and they're like oh he's passed well then maybe i mean have you did you do that though you said you know i've never done that i think that's always interesting i do um
I think that would work great on TV, too, to do a Where Are They Nows.
One guy I mention on the air from time to time when we get a call from Freeport is Ron DeGitis, the running back.
The reason I always remember him is, one, I think he had a 300-yard game, but two, he was crying after their last game.
It was a playoff game.
I just remember that scene like this meant this much to this guy and wonder whatever happened to him.
You covered a lot of high school guys, didn't you, Kabaly?
Who's the greatest high school athlete you ever covered?
What did Elijah โ he must have just wrecked people in the secondary in high school.
Did he play last year?
I don't think he played last year.
That would be a great story to go back and talk to those guys and do that story.
Bob, who's the greatest high school athlete you ever saw?
Mine is LeVar.
Phenomenal.
How about you, Limit?
You've covered a high school sporting event now and again, and you've gone to them.
Who's the best high school athlete you've ever seen?
