Some of them knew about Super 8, some of them were experiencing it for the first time and said, look
Film stuff around you, but also film yourself filming the stuff.
So we've got two different things going on.
So you have some of the people are renowned photographers and people who've, you know, done a lot of nature photography before.
Others are people who are completely new to this and and they and what they want is the the the nature, but also the process of capturing it.
There are also then these kind of
Audio voice notes, which are in a range of uh of different languages.
And they're all then brought together as a kind of collage by Ed Sayers, who also provides a kind of linking.
It's not quite narration, but it's all everything is brought together.
So you have this this extraordinary array of footage.
I mean, it's everything from vast deserts to coral reefs and tiny
Tiny bugs and huge mammals, land, sea, sky, everywhere around the world.
The thing that unifies them all is they are all shot on Super 8.
Here is a clip.
So essentially, then took all that footage, put it together in this collage, which questions our own relationship with nature, our own relationship with ourselves, what it means to be a human on this planet, what it means for this planet to be in crisis.
And as I said, I interviewed the director for um for MK3D, and he was talking about the fact there's something about the tactility of Super 8 that enabled both the filmmakers and
The audience, not just to see the world on the film, but to feel it.
There was something tactile about what Super 8 did.
And we talked a lot about, you know, we've all got very used to the idea that you can have an incredibly high-def nature documentary nowadays.
It'll be in IMAX cinema, pin-sharp resolution, extraordinary cinematography of nature as you've never seen it before.
