cracked it, uh it's easier to have a crash in that sort of environment 'cause the visibility just goes out the door as soon as the the downwash hits all the ash.
And then once they cleared, uh he jumped out, left it running obviously, and then we started loading people into the into the helicopter, but that's when we, you know, come across those real, you know, gnarly m medical uh injuries that uh started to you know unfold.
You know, yeah.
So that that that was a that was just another
um tough piece that we just had to quickly adapt to.
And then once we got the helicopter loaded, Jace left.
Um there was I I can't remember if the signal was from Johnny to fly to the airport.
Um, but I told Jace to go to the hospital.
And then um
I brought my one up and landed in the same spot and then um Tommy was gonna fly it out and I was gonna stay there but he he he just said Oh look you know it'd be better if you did so we loaded up and I flew that one back and Tim Tim brought his one in by then and and loaded the last two.
Um well not the last two.
Uh there were still people there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But um he took two in that machine 'cause that's all it could take.
And um and then um obviously Jace was gonna come.
Come back and uh help us uh grab the the rest of them.
No, not at all.
You know, like um I mean I told a couple of these stories of various people over there because people are curious and um you know everyone likes a story.
