So it's the new franchisee coming in and having these wild expectations of what they should be able to do.
And down deep, you're saying, I don't think they'll do that.
But if they can grab them and say, this is the best person's done, they can shoot for realistic stuff.
I think that's important to help them right from the beginning.
You have to start with where you are and not apologize for that.
If you go back in time, you look at the stories about the gentleman in Cincinnati who invented the Filet-O-Fish.
At that point, I forget what he paid McDonald's, this meager amount, but he had Cincinnati and Dayton and all these areas for $1,000, right?
What you're going to find is that an early franchisee gets in usually with a lot more territory than they're ever going to need and usually a lot less money than what anybody else is going to get in four, five, six years later.
You have to work with them.
have to, again, connect and let them know you're going to work together.
I don't think it's that important where you have to go out and work with them on site all the time.
