Second, this is Patricia Scanlon, who is Ireland's former AI ambassador, told me this a couple of years ago.
Ask the AI about something you know a lot about.
And then you'll see the flaws because you know about it and you'll ask it about it and you'll see where it goes wrong.
It hallucinates, things like that.
And I think the third is to ask the internet, ask the AI, why am I wrong?
Because most people go on and say, I have this idea, tell me why I'm right.
I was doing this in the early parts of the research of my book.
I was waiting for it to tell me how fantastically smart I was.
Because we know that from chat logs and open AI, for example, that the chat bot's 10 times more likely to say, yes, you are correct.
But if you walk in and say, why am I wrong?
It changes your relationship with AI immediately because now it helps you be more critical in thinking about how you think.
