And that's why so many of us in the veteran community were very excited not to just play defense, but to go on offense and to build upon those victories to provide veterans more choice in their health care.

And in Trump's first

Term, he fired Secretary Shulkin for not moving fast enough on healthcare choice.

I would say that VA Secretary Doug Collins will likely go down as one of the worst VA secretaries in American history, definitely in the top three, because we had such a huge opportunity to build on those legislative accomplishments.

And he's really underperformed.

I think where we move forward here is that I've shown people that.

This is politically a winner.

I think we can get this done in the Senate.

But at this point, what I'm hearing on Capitol Hill, the only way that the House would vote on this bill this week is if President Trump would engage directly via Truth Social.

He supports these bills.

The White House has issued a statement of administrative policy, but we just need to have a stronger message from President Trump, who I say is the greatest modern day president for veterans.

is not even close that he could change this dynamic and get the House to vote on this because we are losing veterans every single day.

A lot of people talk about legislation that will save

I know for a fact if that we strengthen

The Veterans Access Act and those community care standards.

If we can get veterans into VA hospitals or out into the community faster, it will truly save lives.

So these House Republicans who want to put their election above voting for this bill because they want to get out of town quicker to campaign, how many veterans are we going to lose every day because we're not passing this bill?

That's something they're going to have to live with.
