It's uh backed by the White House.
Uh it will help protect and codify President Trump's largest win for veterans in his first term, uh, the Mission Act, which will give veterans choice in their health care.
And right now it's been reported by CNN, by Politico, by you and myself early on that VA Secretary Doug Collins has been undermining this bill.
Which is very surprising because he was a former congressman.
And you think that President Trump, when he selected him, would expect him to help him push his legislative agenda.
But in fact, he's doing quite the opposite.

And the worst kept secret at the VA is that Doug Collins wants to run for Senate in Georgia in 2028.
So he's taken a posture of not rocking the boat.
And when you look at any type of reforms at the VA, like the Take Care of America's Veterans Act, which includes the Access Act, it threatens 300,000 labor union members within the VA.
And when you
running for office, you don't want to make any enemies.
But uh what he's been doing behind the scenes is basically saying that he's got concerns with this bill.
But when he's pressed privately, he will say that his position is the same as the White House.
But in that CNN article in Politico, it wasn't Doug Collins saying that he supports this bill.
He was using spokespeople to address these concerns.
So I'm just asking a very simple question can the VA secretary Doug Collins
Can he come out and publicly state that he supports the Take Care of America's Veterans Act?
