And I would echo what Kate said, that what we need is a broad diversity of options.
They need to be flexible, they need to be low impact, and they need to be adaptable to the needs of farmers.
Yeah, I'd be happy to speak to that.
I think our farm has a very illustrative case about why this is significant.
I have a question along the lines of Chair Endel and Mr. Turner.
If, hypothetically, there was no limit
and it went to zero.
And that would be impactful because it would hurt farming in Loudoun.
My question is why would the people that have been farming their own land for their own product
stop doing it because it's easier to just buy from somewhere else and process it?
Or would the people that have a small parcel that don't do processing and want to give some of it to the other groups to do, is their product not good enough in that we could get a better product?
Why would it cause somebody to not want to farm here on their property they've been farming on?
If that question makes sense.
