It's at a large distance from their land.

We would see their ships coming.

uh small boats coming and and uh strike them.

Um the uh the route through Iranian waters may well be clear, the northern of the tran typical transit scriptures clear mines because I don't think the Iranians mine that one.

But the traditional um uh southern route the one that's in international waters north of Oman, south of Iran, that one I think is heavily mined still.

I mean I'd be surprised if it's been demined because I

I really think there's a handful of countries that could do it and no one said they did from those handful of countries.

So I do think the White House has the patience.

I'm not sure the Iranians have the patience.

In other words, I think at some point Iran goes, This is not acceptable.

They try to leverage the midterm elections, you know, with some kind of uh aggressive, you know, outburst in late September, early October against our Arab partners um that causes full scale military operations to restart.

Very few things can prevent that kind of escalating rapidly, other than if the United States has fixed its inability to shoot down drones with ground based systems.

In other words, we had this hole in our swing during the forty-day war where we could shoot down ballistic missiles pretty well.

We could shoot down drones that were going long distances with aircraft.

But drones that were just popping across the uh strait and hitting Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and eastern Saudi Arabia, you know, their critical infrastructures, the oil and gas fields.

We couldn't stop those.

They hit at will and we'd get in between us and our air partners.

We've both all been talking to Ukraine where the answer lies and for a lot of these weapon systems.

The United States has had some US companies produce things rapidly.
