I did modernize some of it as well.

I didn't want to go too derivative with the 80s stuff, so I have watered it down.

There was some more modern sounds in there and stuff as well, but I've tried to kept the core of it as an 80s theme to help evoke.

That sound as well.

Yeah, it's probably one of my favorite lines as well.

I don't often have moments of inspiration of great prose, but I think that's that's a pretty cool line if I can pat myself on the back for that one.

Well,

Well, th okay.

Yeah.

I'll I'll take that.

But yeah, it's not often that I have these inspirational moments.

So that was a cool line.

And yeah, it seemed to just sum up his situation.

Well, that's what I'm trying to do as succinctly as I can in this little monologue here is, you know, tell the audience about what Daniel's been through up until this point as succinctly as I can.

And that line certainly did the job, I think.

And I will add this monologue here by Daniel is beautifully delivered by Hamish Plagumas, who of course plays Daniel throughout the entire series.

One of the audition lines was actually taken from this monologue and I thought Hamish just knocked it out of the park when he delivered this particular line in the audition.

And I thought it just really suited the tone of the story and really sets the scene perfectly.

So it was a great job by Hamish.
