The worst of the weather here by far will be tonight into early Sunday morning.
And by Sunday at sunrise, most of the snow, if not all of it, will have fallen.
And at that point, we could have as much as a foot on the ground.
And combine that with 50 to 60 mile an hour wind gusts, maybe some 70 mile an hour wind gusts, especially out in the buoys.
where they're talking about 10 to 20-foot waves offshore.
The tide is now going out, and so the beach is getting wider.
Low tide was at 613, so we've got another high tide after lunchtime.
The high tides of concern are tonight, this evening, but more importantly, tomorrow morning, around 7 a.m.
here on the northern Outer Banks.
