But that being said, for 162 games, you have to go out there and you have to win consistently.
You have to win 90-plus games to be in the playoffs most times.
And they feel like...
They have an opportunity to do that, but I don't think they feel like they're ready for that collectively, the full 26-man roster.
And I think they have that mindset going into the trade deadline.
I can't speak for them.
I would say that they could easily buy and sell collectively and be creative.
But you're hearing that a lot through baseball.
There's a lot of teams that are looking for players that have controllable years.
And if you can do that, I think it fits in nicely for the Cardinals.
If you're looking for a rental, by no means is that the mentality of where Hein Blum and his staff are at.
Yeah, I think the second half last year really taught him a lot.
And Leila, I say this, it's easy to do really well in the big leagues and feel good about yourself.
When you struggle, you learn the most and you learn what you don't want to do again.
And I think he's put himself in a different position.
I think the World Baseball Classic helped him with his confidence.
I think there's a lot of aspects that when he's playing the game, that whole team feels different.
Yeah.
When you watch him consistently on an everyday basis, which I don't get to do, but I see enough of him to understand it, because I always follow the game itself.
And yes, I'm doing the Cardinals stuff, but I have to try to do as much as I can because I do stuff with Fox.
