I did that – I had this idea.

I'd done that one and I was like, I'd like to do fiction.

I had an idea that I kind of formed during COVID.

I was like, this could be a good story if I talk about, I guess, an insurgency in Victoria in a fictional scenario.

So I worked on that.

I found it's actually much harder than nonfiction because you're having to create that world out of thin air in a lot of cases.

But I really enjoyed it.

It took a while to get it down and get it written.

and released that with the same publisher, Pam McMillan, and loved it.

I've still got people asking for a follow-up, so we'll see.

Yeah, Outrider, that's right.

It's got to be a whole muscle because I found it hard.

You'd have to –

I think about a scene and I know average scenes about 2000 words.

I'll be like, okay, I think I know how this scene is going to go.

And I try and do half a scene in one day and the other half the second day.

And then I try and edit a bit, but,

It's just I found it really hard to build that world and have good characters with good dialogue.

Yeah.

Believable when none of it's really happened in theory.
