You can imagine what repeated exposure to that sort of thing is going to do.

And the –

The heads of the military knew about this.

They just didn't want to – they didn't either know how to address it or were unwilling to address that issue.

Yeah.

And then all of a sudden you've got behavioral issues in troops.

Yeah.

Yeah, and there's so many layers to this, and it's such an emotive topic.

And I've had so many people at all levels of society talk to me about it, everyone from members of parliament all the way through to lawyers, and the average person on the street talk about this.

And I reckon probably –

99% of people are very forgiving of Australian soldiers that have been deployed and been asked to do a hard job.

So there's that.

There's also the other side where if you're a DPP or whoever authorizes an arrest, you wouldn't arrest an Australian war hero unless you had a pretty substantial brief of evidence, would you?

So there's that.

And then the allegations that have been pitted, and it's not just aimed at one person.

This is going to be – this is two people at the moment and possibly more.

Some are quite severe.

They're pretty severe and beyond – if they're true, beyond what you would need to apply in a war zone.

Yeah.

So there's that part of it.
