It's been sweet to, you know, a lot of these boys and girls we serve, you'd think everybody knows how to push a Zebco button fishing pole and catch a fish.
And we get so many 15, 16, 17-year-old boys that have never fished.
We get boys sitting around the lodge, and we throw some burgers and hot dogs on the grill, and they've never thrown a burger on the grill.
Never made a campfire.
And just the little things that we take for granted when we're teaching these young men.
Yeah, it's a big deal to them.
A real big deal to them.
Yeah.
All I got is girls.
Even my dog's a chick.
We spend a lot of time with these kids, and we take them hunting and have great times in the hunting blinds, but I think the thing that changes these kids most of all is giving them the roadmap for life, and that's the gospel.
And the gospel and Jesus is what changes people.
Uh, there's a lot in scripture about fatherless, but my personal life versus Jeremiah 29, 13, you shall seek me and find me when you give me all your heart.
There you go.
You know, I think the, for the Lord to do big things in our lives, we got to go all in full.
