Uh we we got that as well.
Uh
W one dissenter wanted a fifty basis point cut uh in rates.
Uh a couple other uh Fed members wanted to hold policy on chains.
Uh, that's unusual, but that was uh expected.
Uh and uh I think uh Chair Powell and uh
in the press presser afterwards, uh after the release of this of the uh announced move, made it clear that, you know, while uh there might be another rate cut in our future next year, you know, it's becoming much more data dependent.
It's it's har hard to know exactly what the path forward is.
And I think investors knew that that was coming.
So all in all, I thought it was as I said
Well, I think it's meaningful.
I you know, I I think it it's explainable by the fact that uh the f the federal funds rate target, the interest rate the Fed controls, is now pretty close to what uh might be considered the so called neutral rate, the uh equilibrium or R star, that rate at which policy is neither supporting or restraining growth growth.
That's not written in stone somewhere that we can go take a look.
It's estimated and it's we uh policy
Makers get to it by intuition and feel.
So as a result there's a lot of debate about that.
But we're pretty close and because we're pretty close, you can it's not surprising you'd get
uh people uh d disagreeing about what their appropriate policy steps would be.
Uh the other thing that's going on, of course, is uh tariffs and uh highly restrictive immigration policy.
