They recently implemented this very
Very weird feature where if you s if you use the share sheet and you send it to a friend, whether it's through Slack, through text, whatever, and they click that link, it is now a special tracking link that knows that the friend sent it to you.

So then when you open the link.
Now you'll have the video, but below the video, instead of just seeing the comments or the description of the video, you'll see a little reply function, which has you reply directly to the person who sent it to you.
Which is really, really dumb.
Yeah.
This is the other bad thing.
Um now yeah, it's it's it's very weird.
I we all know that they need YouTube is trying to make itself more of a social media platform.
There are better ways to do this.
I have suggested implementations such as a recommendation feed where your friends just hit recommend on videos and then it just shows all the videos your friends recommended.
Dude, if Instagra okay, if Instagram's main feature is sending each other reels.
Sort of what they're trying to copy with this, but there should just be a feed of your friend's recommended videos in YouTube.
