all the time no that's what was really cool about it is when it folds into the back there's a an exterior glass screen that it folds underneath on the back side and then so on the back it's not the soft touch screen i guess you're saying the front of it is the front all the time but the back works when it's not unrolled as a back screen which is really cool i actually like the way they engineered this thing was really impressive and probably would have been better and
