But yeah, but they just had this great Russian list and they specialized in these kinds of books.

Russian stuff, you probably want to get the Cornell University Press catalog so you can look through it.

Because and it's not to say you won't find books on other places, you will.
Other presses publish these books, but they have editors that are particularly interested in these fields.
And actually there's a lot of diversification in that way.
People covering what they call in marketing verticals, you know, a kind of book.
Uh and you see a lot of this across the university presses.
They feel particularly
particular niches and I don't think there's broad awareness of this.

And if you had advice I I don't know, you may not want to answer this question, but if you had advice for sort of a first time author, somebody who's a graduate student thinking about writing a book, what kind of advice would you give them about approaching a university press?
Well, I think that's excellent advice and it always worked for me once I learned it.
I would add one thing, and that is get over your fear of the phone.
Yeah.
You need to get them on the phone because that's really where all productive conversations about books happen.
