And that you know, that's really interesting because you you all tend to in these strong El Niños get these really strong storm events, rainstorms, mudslides.
It's not always a given, but you know, the on average, that's what we tend to see in California for sure.

We're already seeing evidence of it in Chile and the uh Atacama.
You you get these big snow events and rain events.
So it's a really interesting pattern that's so so far holding the
form all the hurricanes we're seeing in Hawaii, the lack of hurricanes we're seeing in the Atlantic basin, these are all telltale signals.
So
They are a sister-brother team, but since some cases you you don't want to see this brother showing up to dinner.
Um it's a part of something called the El Nino Southern Oscillation.
It's a naturally varying climate pattern that we see in the ocean and atmosphere.
El Niño is the warm phase of the INSO.
La Niña is the cold phase.
Every two to seven years we see an El Nino.
That's a naturally occurring process.
Essentially, we have to talk about some ologies, meteorology, and then some agraphies as well, oceanography, because they're really a coupled system.
So we see every two to seven years the trade winds in the Pacific Ocean will weaken and even reverse.
And so that allows warm water from the western
