Eighty-two, nineteen eighty-two, nineteen eighty-three, we're

on par with 2015, 2016.

And yet we aren't even to the peak of this one yet.

And so I think that's ominous for the how it will affect the jet stream pattern.

So I really expect

many places.

It's it's really hard to pinpoint one place sort of being the bullseye because this jet stream is literally a wave.

If you think about a wave in a string or a wave in an ocean, that jet stream has these ridges and troughs moving around the planet.

And with El Nino, it is displaced southward.

And so for example, parts of North America, you know, even into the northern tier of the US, they can tend to be warmer, whereas down south, we actually can be much cooler and perhaps have wetter conditions.

And these things affect things like agricultural productivity.

Some maybe are winners, some are losers.

Uh I look at some of the places like the Amazonia.

even the Sahelian regions, if they become drier, these have massive cascading impacts on human beings.

Yeah, I'd like to think so, Allie.

We use data from the ocean.

Thank goodness we have things like buoys and submersible instrumentation and satellites.

I spent much of the early part of my career working at NASA developing satellite missions to study the planet.

And so we have all of these things to take the Earth's temperature.

And one of the things that we're seeing is that not only do we see extremely warm, we're, you know, two to three
