Yeah, and I remember like learning that so right around then and I just started making, I've always loved melodies, you know, like melody. It's definitely some of my favorite part, my favorite part of writing music. And I was just writing, you know, I came from the East Coast, so, you know, there's a lot of Jersey Club over there, a lot of trap music. That's how I grew up.

But for some reason, when I started this Marshmallow Project, I was just cranking out my own little version of Jersey Club. And Jersey Club, it's like all kicks the whole time. And that was fine.
