These are incredibly solemn ceremonies, as you can imagine just from the name, dignified transfers.
Bringing home America's service members from conflict zones who have died serving and sacrificing for our country.
And of course,
Three of the soldiers were killed in an Iranian attack here in Jordan on a base.
And the fourth was killed while they were trying to detonate a controlled detonation of an Iranian drone.
This is Iran's fault for these deaths.
And I think to bring them home and have their families there and see those coffins, caskets come off
That military aircraft is just a powerful, powerful punch in the gut and something they will never, ever forget.
Of course, the president was there as well.
Secretary Hegseth was there as well with some comments earlier about those soldiers that are pretty controversial.
But it is something I have seen before, these caskets coming off aircraft, and truly it is a sobering moment for any American.
This week, we've heard the president compare it to deaths in Afghanistan or Vietnam or Iraq, and it really can't compare.
First of all, this is a war that President Trump began, and we have already had 18 service members die.
We've heard the president say that these soldiers who died supported him and
what was happening in Iran, and they don't want Iran to get a nuclear weapon.
They won't have a nuclear weapon.
I certainly don't know whether that is true or not.
You had a 19-year-old, a 25-year-old, very young, and they were here in Jordan.
So obviously they had orders to come here.
They did that with honor.
