Some of my friends would be having a little giggle at because I di I did play a lot of footy uh and I the highest level that I played was in the Geelong League and the Ballarat League, but and I was I was on St Kilda's radar at one point.
I played one practice game for St Kilda, an intra club game, but I was not a great player and I I'd stopped playing by the time I was twenty four because the age newspaper had hired me to write footy and I knew
needed to work on weekends.
So I happily gave it away, but I've always loved it.
I still go to the footy.

So it just made me think how much footy does mean t mean to people.
Um I think I heard you say
about the love of footy and how we we're very in our modern society and with social media we're very
focused on a lot of negatives uh about not only footy but the whole whole world.
Uh it's very easy to lose perspective and uh
You know, I think
