I I feel I learnt a lot about those local campaigns, those campaigns by Indigenous peoples.

Now following on from that, in in the book, you're killing seeking to decenter global ethics and to challenge a tendency to see Western or global north perspectives as universal and to devalue ethical perspectives from the global south or the majority world.

However, some might say there's a danger that you end up simply reversing the binary and un uncritically validating, for example, indigenous perspectives and conveying a sense of global south good, global north bad.

How how would you respond to that?

Another criticism that might be made of the book is that your decolonial critique depends on the modern Western frames of reference, drawn, for example, from feminism, which you as you said is often associated with the global north, or Marxism, of just the kind that you want to decentre.

It sounds like Margaret Urban Walker has been a huge influence on your own thinking.

So as I say, the book is closely argued and you consider in detail and at length the potential contributions that, for example, theories of moral cosmopolitanism, postmodern ethics, discourse ethics, human rights theory and decolonial praxis might make to the development of a pluriversal ethics.

And you find them all wanting in some way or other.

And I wish we had time to go through all of them in detail.
