I just think that Caulfield, Suzuki, and Slavkoski
didn't see the ice like they usually would in the regular season.
Because against Tampa, as soon as they got the puck, there was somebody on them.
Buffalo's different.
Even that two-on-one early in the third period, Caulfield got it, shot it right away.
Oh, Buffalo may give him a little bit more room because Cirelli is not on the ice and it's totally different.
Maybe you hang on to that puck.
Take a couple of strides.
Get closer to the net.
That's what they need to do.
Well, I go back to some of the players I played with and some that I really respected, and I have a lot of good friends in the game.
And one that I talk about a lot is Danny Breer, obviously GM of the Philly Flyers right now.
But I played with him in Buffalo.
I played with him in Philadelphia.
Yeah.
And I played against him in juniors and in the NHL before that.
And when I played with him, I realized how smart โ
and how understanding of what he needed and how.
So if he hadn't scored in a few games, he was the first one on the ice.
He would be putting the bucket of pucks and just right there in the one spot and keep taking that shot until he felt like, okay, now I'm getting that feel.
