Then he'd go to a different spot.
Then he'd get closer.
And he worked on it so much that I was like, do you want a goalie in that?
He was like, no, that's not what I want to do right now.
I just want to pick my spot.
I want to see the net.
I don't want to see the goalie.
And I felt like that was so interesting, right?
Because...
Everybody's got different ways to get out of a slump and to maybe work through some of their issues.
But it felt so simple that to say, dump a bucket of pucks.
Now, 75, 100 from one spot, then move to a different spot.
75, 100 from a spot, go to a different spot.
Maybe it's 20 minutes, but that 20 minutes goes a long way into when you're going to get that puck in that situation in the next game.
You're not going to see a goalie.
You're going to see the back of the net, and you're going to put it in.
Well, yes, I would have probably done that.
But, you know, when you don't have the confidence, it's almost like even if you want to let me score, I'm probably going to hit you in the chest.
And so he's like, I don't want to feel like I'm hitting a goalie in the chest by mistake.
I don't see him going to the areas that is going to be hard to create.
