And that's what I did.
And, you know, I've been lucky in the companies I've worked with.
I've had some that have been very male-focused.
I've had some that have been very neutral.
And then I think one of the great examples of a strong leader in business is Rhoda Olson at Great Clips.
Rhoda had fabulous, I mean, the company was started by two guys.
It was run by Ray Barton for years and years and years, and yet most of the managers, most of the frontline employees, and most of the support staff were women.
And Rhoda has this almost impeccable blend of the humanity and the caring and the nurturing
side that's considered very female, and she had killer business sense.
And when she came into the leadership role, that company started to grow by leaps and bounds, never changing its culture, never having to favor one way of doing things over another.
She found this balance of these are the business constructs that work.
By the way, I have to –
inform, communicate, educate, and lead both men and women.
And she's done an amazing job.
They're at, what, 3,700 salons right now.
So it's got to be about the individuals.
Maybe if we get the labels off things, it will work.
But it's really about embracing the fundamental talents that the leaders have.
Yeah.
